About 30 Seconds To Mars
ABOUT
30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1998. 30 Seconds To Mars' music has been associated mostly with progressive rock/metal and post-grunge but also included electronic music, space rock, post-hardcore and synth rock into their music.That make this band different is,they use of philosophical and spiritual lyrics.30 Seconds to Mars have released three studio albums, such as : 30 Seconds to Mars (2002); A Beautiful Lie (2005); This Is War (2009),and three extended plays – AOL Sessions Undercover(2007),To the Edge of the Earth (2008),and MTV Unplugged: 30 Seconds to Mars (2011).Till now,30 Seconds To Mars have received 21 awards and break the record ‘300 concerts just on 2 years’!
CHARATERISTICS
1. Logo
The band's phoenix logo (which the band named "Mithra") bears the phrase "Provehito in Altum", the band's motto. Roughly translated from Latin, this means "Launch forth into the deep" but a more stylized version would be "Rocket in(to) High(ness)". The logo was primarily used for promotion of the band's debut, whereas for A Beautiful Lie, the new Trinity logo was created consisting of three skulls and three arrows pointing inwards, along with the band's name and motto. With the release of This Is War, 30 Seconds to Mars introduced a new logo, known as the Triad, which refers to "group of three", hence the three sides of the triangle.
The Echelon
The Echelon is a street team for the band 30 Seconds to Mars,which helps in bringing friends to the shows, phoning local radio stations to request the band's songs,putting up posters, posting to band forums or related bulletin boards online, voting for the band in official award nominations and maintaining magazines or websites dedicated to the band.It is also the name of one of their songs in their debut album 30 Seconds to Mars. In regards to the Echelon, Jared Leto said the following:
"Some people ask us if this is a cult. I say this : It's something special. It's not for everyone - it's only for those who understand."
PERSONELS
Jared Joseph Leto is an American actor, director, producer and musician.Jared was born in Bossier City,Lousiana 26th December 1971.He’s the lead vocalist,guitar,multi-instrumentalist and main songwriter on 30 Seconds To Mars.I think Jared has awesome and unique color voice with great power at singing.
Jared is self-centered and arrogant.He feels important,he knows he's important,and he doesn't see any reason to not to flaunt that there’s not any reason to make sure everyone else loves and respects him.He likes to be known, but he doesn't care what your opinion on him.However,Jared actually is so fine,funny and he respects adult figures in his life and also a hardworker.That is Jared's public appearance.
Jared’s childhood was concern, His parents divorced when he was a child, leaving him in the care of his mother,Constance. This separation led to a traveling life with young Jared moving with his mother Constance Leto,his grandfather and his older brother Shannon Leto to different cities in Colorado, Virginia, Wyoming, and Haiti."My mom's father was in the Air Force," Jared explained, "so moving around a lot was a normal way of life."His father remarried and died soon after Jared has two younger half-brothers from his father's second marriage.Jared wanted to help his family and became a dishwasher at small snack-bar at 12 years old,and he was a doorman at 16.But he also ever dropped out from his school when he was a teenager.Losing both father and being moved around a as a child by his eccentric mother make Jared very unstable standing on most things.
2.Shannon Leto
Shannon Christopher Leto was born in Bossier City, Louisiana 9th March 1970.He is an drummer in 30 Seconds To Mars,photographer and an occasional actor.Shannon Leto is the older brother of Jared Leto.
He has been playing drums since 1975. Some of Shannon's favorite drummers are John Bonham, Roger Taylor,Stewart Copeland, Keith Moon, Nick Mason, and Lars Ulrich,they are influencing his own playing style.
Shannon has flirty personality,easygoing,and he’s the funniest person in this band.He can’t just be quiet during the interview,he’ll be throw a joke over and over again.He also a bit stubborn.
Shannon has the same childhood like Jared.He was the leader of his family cause both of his father has gone since he was child.Shannon love and always protecting his young brother,Jared
3.Tomo Milicevic
Tomislav Miličević or Tomo was born in Sarajevo,3th September 1979.He is a Bosnian-American musician.He is currently the lead guitarst on 30 Seconds to Mars. Tomo is the younger brother of Actress/Model Ivana Milicevic.Beside his sister Ivana,he also has a brother named Filip.Tomo attended Athens High School in Troy, Michigan.He spent two years in culinary school, and is a certified chef, specializing in pastries and cakes.
Tomo’s favorite song is Take On Me by A-Ha.He is left-handed, but plays guitar right-handed.Tomo is pretty fluent at playing guitar and he has his own playing style.
Like Shannon,Tomo is so funny,insane and friendly.But he also the simplest and the most introvert person in the band.
